Lesser know artists should get some of the spotlight. There is so much good music out there to listen to.
Drake, Taylor Swift, SZA, Adele: these artists are consistently on heavy rotation on every popular radio station across the country. But what about the emerging artists that appear on Spotify or Apple Music? Below I have compiled a list of emerging artists that you should listen to:

The artist: Suzanne Vega
Who are they: Suzanne Vega was born in 1959 she is an American singer-songwriter she writers folk-inspired music.
Why they’re so exciting: I’ve only listened to one of her songs and it’s called “Tom’s Dinner” there was a group that cover her song their name is Annenmaykantereit.

The artist: Enny
Who are they: Enny was born in December 1994 she is an English rapper and singer.
Why they’re so exciting: Jorja Smith writing the song called the peng black girl remix the enny sing it’s about giving the black girls a chance and machines stereotype about black girls.

The artist: Carole and Tuesday
Who are they: Two girls named Carole and Tuesday that are from different backgrounds make music and together they want to become big stars and sing together. This is a show called Carole and Tuesday and it’s set to be futuristic and they’re on Mars. By the way, their music is on Apple Music.
Why they’re so exciting: Their songs are beautiful and and every time I watch the show it makes me want to bring out my guitar and just write a song or just sing a long with them when they sing.
