Have you ever thought that you were being controlled or manipulated by what you hear, what you see, and what you read? Chances are, this is not just in your head. Your mom, dad, brother, sister, cousin, auntie, uncle, and even your dog are all probably being manipulated by what they consume through the media. MK Ultra to some people is just a conspiracy theory, some people believe it’s not real because it’s not a physical entity. Although MK Ultra is not something you can just see or touch, you can experience it. When I say controlled, I mean by the media and the music you consume.
MK Ultra is a real human experimentation program designed by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), but many don’t know this because MK Ultra is pervasive and subliminal. Its purpose was to develop mind control techniques using drugs, hypnosis, and psychological manipulation. The program’s purpose was to control human behavior. Many of the experiments were conducted on unwitting individuals, including prisoners, mental patients, and everyday citizens. The use of substances like lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) in these experiments often resulted in long-term psychological damage or even death.
Although the original MK Ultra program was exposed and shut down, many conspiracy theorists believe that its influence persists today in more subtle and pervasive ways. They argue that while physical experimentation has decreased, modern mind control operates through mass media, music, and entertainment. The idea is that the government, elites, or other powerful groups use psychological techniques to manipulate the public’s thoughts, emotions, and actions without their awareness.
Many people claim that MK Ultra never truly ended—it just evolved. Instead of direct experiments, the alleged modern version of MK Ultra works through television, music, and social media. These mediums influence emotions and behaviors, shaping how people think and act without them realizing it.
For example, music is often linked to emotional states. When someone is feeling sad, they naturally gravitate toward music that matches their mood, reinforcing their emotional state rather than improving it. Some theorists argue that this is not a coincidence but rather a form of psychological conditioning designed to keep people in certain mental states. Similarly, television shows and movies may subtly influence viewers’ beliefs and perspectives, creating patterns in thought and behavior that align with a broader agenda.
Some conspiracy theorists believe that MK Ultra could be linked to violent crimes, terrorist attacks, and school shootings. The theory is that certain individuals may be unknowingly influenced or even programmed to commit violent acts, furthering a hidden agenda. This is a large a topic of debate among those who believe in the theory behind MK Ultra.
But what can we do to protect ourselves from this? Recognizing the influence of media and entertainment on emotions and thoughts is the first step in breaking free from subconscious manipulation. Limiting exposure to mainstream media, analyzing information, and being mindful of emotional responses to entertainment can help individuals regain control over their own minds. I see so many students following trends, even trends that are deadly like the one on TikTok that has left many teens severely injured or even dead.
In closing, 1950s through 1960s, MK Ultra was more through physical testing, but now MK Ultra is relatively subtle, and no one knows about it. If you pay attention to yourself, your environment, and the people around you, you will see a pattern. Music, TV shows, movies, and television in general is where MK Ultra is. Music controls your emotions and how you feel and think. When you’re sad, it doesn’t feel right to listen to music that makes you feel better. Typically, the music matches your current situation or emotions, keeping you sad and stuck in that low vibrational state.
“I think we are all controlled to be honest. It’s weird that staying away from social media and TV can really make an impact on your life,” said BHS sophomore Antwon Canon in a recent interview. Be aware of MK Ultra people. Wake up. In conclusion, a way to protect yourself. From being controlled, you have to understand that you already are. Be aware of the music, shows, and movies, and know that the mainstream media does not control your emotions or actions.
