With this recent delay of the GTA 6 release, the community has been in the middle ground of this event. While some are outrageously mad, others just don’t care anymore.
GTA 5 was released more than a decade ago and since then, graphics have superseded our imaginations and with the advent of AI, I wonder if this could be the reason for waiting to release the highly anticipated game. The first trailer for GTA 6 was in 2023 with an announcement at the end said coming in 2025 then with this new trailer we were giving some more information about gta6 with a new release date in May of 2026. But with this new trailer comes new things who would of guessed but with this trailer we have been giving insight towards a new female character Lucia Caminos who’s a Latina kickboxer recently in jail for fighting for her family. Lucia has a plan to improve her life with Jason’s help. Then our next character, her boyfriend Jason Duval, a man looking for an easy life but struggling with a troubled past including a stint in the army and working for local drug runners. This release hints at new trucks and cars GTA 6 takes place in a fictional place in Florida.
The reasoning for the delays was cause they felt the game wasn’t fully polished and finalized. They are not willing to risk disappointing their fans since the old game has been out for 12 years. GTA 5 is still a highly coveted game, but RockStars wants to live up to their past successes and go beyond.
