Hey! I’m Boulas. This is my third year guiding the journalists of Beneath the Stripes. This has been an absolute dream come true for me. I love having a platform where students can write about their interests, their concerns, and learn about new topics. I also teach English here at BHS and I’m the Teacher Cadet Coordinator.

If I had to choose a walk-up song, it would be “Float On” by Modest Mouse. Someone once told me that that song reminded them of me and I just loved that. When I’m not at work teaching all of the things, I am with my family, reading, hiking, gardening, or doing some type of craft. I’ve been married for 13 years, I have two children, Audrey and Holden, and I just rescued a dog named Bunny. She is the perfect addition to our family and my other dog Milo absolutely adores her.
